Swimming Kids Championship 2025: Dive into Excellence!
Get ready for the most exciting event of the year – the Swimming Kids Championship 2025, organized by BSA Events in collaboration with Decathlon Coimbatore. This eagerly awaited competition will take place on 16th February 2025 at the Life Spring Swimming Academy, KNG Pudur, Coimbatore.
The event aims to bring out the best in young swimmers and provide a platform for children to showcase their talent, discipline, and sportsmanship. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced swimmer, this championship offers a range of categories suitable for all skill levels.
Event Details
The competition will start promptly at 7:15 AM, with reporting time set at 6:30 AM. Participants can compete in the following events, categorized by age groups:
- Free Style: 25m/50m for Under-8 to Under-12, and 50m/100m for Under-14 to Under-19.
- Butterfly Stroke: 25m for younger age groups and 50m for Under-14 and above.
- Backstroke: 25m for Under-8 to Under-12, and 50m for Under-14 and above.
- Breaststroke: 25m for Under-8 to Under-12, and 50m for older participants.
- Individual Medley: 100m for Under-12 and above.
- Free Style Relay: 200m for Under-12 to Under-19.
Age Categories & Cutoff Dates
The competition is divided into six age categories:
- Under-8: Born on or after 01.01.2017
- Under-10: Born on or after 01.01.2015
- Under-12: Born on or after 01.01.2013
- Under-14: Born on or after 01.01.2011
- Under-17: Born on or after 01.01.2008
- Under-19: Born on or after 01.01.2006
This structured format ensures fair competition and gives young athletes the opportunity to compete against peers in their age group.
Awards and Recognition
- Individual Championships will be awarded to top performers in each category.
- Overall Trophies will be presented to academies and schools, recognizing collective excellence.
- All participants will receive a Decathlon Certificate, celebrating their efforts and participation.
